there was a painting of about the same size, attributed to Rembrandt, of Tobias old and blind and Anna spinning, in the collection of the Unshod Carmelites at the Convent of San Hermenegildo, Madrid, by 1776 (the collection was largely dispersed by 1814) but this was probably of different composition
