Frederik Hendrik


Born in 1584 as youngest child of William the Silent, Frederik Hendrik (Frederick Henry) was sovereign Prince of Orange and stadtholder of Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Guelders, and Overijssel from 1625 till his death in 1647. He was married to Amalia van Solms and succeeded by his son Wiliam II,
